Data Collection
The following data must be collected to project enrollment:
- 10 years of historical enrollment by grade, by school
- 15 years of live birth data
- 10 years of single-family and multi-family building permit data
- And the number of new single-family and multi-family homes projected to be built over the next 10 years
In addition, any information that may impact student enrollment will be extremely important in projecting enrollment. This data may include, but is not limited to potential housing development, non-public school enrollment, preschool and special education enrollment, career technical school enrollment as well as anything else that may impact the student population.
