Capacity Analysis
School capacity changes each year depending on the programs in the school, the student to teacher ratio, and scheduling. DeJONG-RICHTER recommends that the capacity of buildings be updated annually to realize the most effective use of them and to enable the district to plan ahead. Planning ahead can involve redistricting, new buildings, renovations and additions to current buildings, and purchasing or reallocating portable buildings.
