Project Director / Geographic Information Systems Analyst
Scott Leopold provides school districts with the technology tools they need for successful planning. Not only does he produce report-quality maps for facility master planning, redistricting, and build-out scenarios, he also assists district officials with implementation of their own Geographic Information Systems [GIS] programs.
Scott has been involved in several educational adequacy projects. Over the past 5 years, he has toured over 250 schools.
Since 2007, Scott has facilitated the boundary creation process for the most recently opened Duval County Public Schools [DCPS] including Westview K-8, Bartram Springs Elementary, Atlantic Coast High School, and Waterleaf Elementary. Scott directed the process for the Twin Lakes Elementary School boundary change. In addition, Scott provides on-demand support for the School Choice and Operations departments for DCPS. This includes updating the student data management system when boundary changes are performed and updating maps for distribution
